Where the Journeys Becomes

The Destination

Bodhika Sacred Tours crafts private, deeply personal pilgrimages through the Last Buddhist Kingdom — its dzongs and festivals, its high passes and quiet monasteries — guided by those who call it home.

Rooted Like The Bodhi Tree

Where Every Journey

Becomes a Pilgrimage

"Bodhika" takes its name from the Bodhi tree — the tree of awakening. We believe travel, at its best, can awaken something in us too.

Bodhika Sacred Tours is a Thimphu-based agency built around one idea: that Bhutan is not a place to be seen, but a place to be felt. We design small, private journeys — cultural pilgrimages, festival immersions, and high-Himalayan treks — grounded in genuine relationships with monasteries, farming families, and mountain communities across the Kingdom.

Every itinerary is handcrafted and English-guided, moving at a pace that leaves room for butter tea with a village family, an unhurried hour inside a 400-year-old dzong, or simply the silence of a mountain pass strung with prayer flags.

Why Travel With Us

Sustainably Curated,

Sincerely Guided

Sacred & Sustainable

Every itinerary honours Bhutan's High Value, Low Volume philosophy — supporting monasteries, farming communities and conservation, not just sights.

Small, Private Groups

No fixed buses of strangers. Your itinerary is built around your travel party alone, with a dedicated guide and driver throughout.

Local Guardians of Culture

Our English-speaking guides are Bhutanese storytellers first — sharing living history, not a script, from dzong courtyards to farmhouse kitchens.
